UCP implementation research

Versioned, source-backed implementation notes. Future articles remain absent from the public build until their publication date.

What enters the research section

Research notes are reserved for implementation questions that need a reproducible method: protocol validation, capability matrices, merchant checklists and testable examples. Drafts stay out of the public build until their publication date.

When no note is public yet, this index still states the scope and prevents unpublished URLs from being exposed to crawlers or readers.

Each published note must identify the specification version or primary source it uses, the implementation assumption being tested, and the verification steps a developer can repeat. That makes the section useful for protocol tracking without exposing speculative drafts as finished guidance.

The section is intentionally narrow: UCP catalog surfaces, AP2-style payment flows, Shopify or merchant integration constraints, validation checklists and crawlable evidence. Broader opinion pieces stay in the resources section.
